Getting Started

• The Application process must be started a minimum of 4 months to the date you wish to have your celebration.
• The Quinceañera must have had her Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation. If not yet Confirmed, the young lady must be in a Confirmation Program and must be currently attending the Confirmation Classes. You will be asked to provide proof of these sacraments. 
• The young lady must complete an appointment with the priest together with her parents. At this meeting the priest will approve and confirm the date you would like. (Other additional meetings with a coordinator may be required) 

Retreat and Service Hours

•  The Quinceañera must attend a one day retreat a long with the “court/chambelanes” that will accompany her that day. (those who must attend are those who are between the ages 14 to 17 and/or in grades 9 through 12). Those who do not attend will not be allowed to process with her in the mass.   
• The deadline to sign up for this retreat is minimum 2 weeks prior to the actual retreat date. For Retreat Dates, please call the and check with the front office. 
• All Retreats happen on a Saturday and last half a day (8:30am to 2pm). 
• 10 service hours (5 in the community and 5 within the church) must be completed one month prior to the Quinceañera Mass date. Confirmation Service hours as well as hours put in for extracurricular activities (such as school clubs, band, sports, etc.) will not count towards these 10 required hours. 

Financial Offering

•  The customary donation for a Quinceañera Mass is $600.00, which truly is the family’s expression of thanksgiving to God for the gift of the life of the young lady. The Quinceañera Coordinator is included. It is also customary to give each Altar Server a $10.00 gratuity. A $100.00 reservation fee is required to reserve the time and date for the Mass. If for any reason the Mass is canceled, the fee is non-refundable. The remaining balance of payment must be paid one month prior to the mass celebration. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

• No more than 6 pairs are allowed in the entrance procession at Mass. The pairs must be from 14-18 years of age, no younger. Everyone involved in the Mass must attend a rehearsal, which needs to be scheduled with the Coordinator. The phone number of the Coordinator can be obtained from the Pastoral Center.
• Music for the Mass is NOT provided. If you would like to request a list of our parish’s musicians, you may do so at the Pastoral Office. If you choose to hire musicians from out of the parish, you will need to call the Parish Director of Music and Liturgy for the approval of the songs that will be played at the Mass. The phone number can be obtained from the Pastoral Office. The Stipend for the Music is to be arranged directly with the musician. 
• Altar flowers are not provided, but are optional. Two baskets may be purchased from your florist for use on the altar, and can be left at the church with notification to the coordinator. NO ARCHES  OR AISLE RUNNERS ARE ALLOWED.
• Only 1 videographer and 1 photographer are allowed during the Mass. The videographer may set up his equipment permanently on the Choir side of the church. Should he and the photographer wish to move about, they should do so discreetly, outside the carpeted area of the sanctuary, taking care not to distract the Quinceañera and the priest. 
• We request that you provide two lectors for the Mass, these two lectors must attend the practice before the mass. The lectors you choose must be able to read appropriately (audibly and clearly).
